A BTL transcranial magnetic stimulation system
BTL Exomind uses ExoTMS technology to deliver magnetic pulses to selected brain regions. BTL describes the device as cleared in the United States for depression. Local treatment must follow the device instructions, Pakistan regulatory requirements and appropriate clinical governance.
Depression treatment is broader than a device session
Assessment and Exomind treatment are physician-led by Dr Muhammad Shoaib Mukhtar. Review includes symptoms, duration, previous therapy and medicines, bipolar or psychotic symptoms, substance use, sleep, neurological history, seizure risk, implanted metal or electronic devices and current safety.
Exomind is not marketed here as a general cure for anxiety, OCD, addiction, memory problems, stress, weight loss or stroke. These require separate diagnosis and evidence-based pathways. Psychiatry or another mental-health referral is arranged only when the presentation requires additional specialist care.
Consent should include alternatives and uncertainty
Patients should understand the proposed protocol, common adverse effects, rare risks, expected time course, alternatives and follow-up. Mood and function are measured during care.
Frequently asked questions

Can Exomind treat every mental-health condition?
No. The public page focuses on depression. Other conditions require diagnosis, appropriate evidence and treatment within the relevant specialty.
Can medication be stopped before treatment?
Do not stop psychiatric or other medication without the prescribing clinician’s advice.
