Recovery is not a straight line

Progress can depend on the diagnosis, severity, timing, other medical conditions, access to therapy, family support and the goals that matter to the individual. A powerful story can offer hope, but it cannot predict another person’s result.

Clinical decisions should be based on an individual assessment rather than on a testimonial. Ask what outcomes are realistic for your condition and how progress will be measured.
